The Jolly Postman’s Journey

Our latest event is an Easter Trail.

After a really successful Halloween trail we have decided to do another one! Get the whole family involved from 26th March-9th April 2021 and participate in The Jolly Postman’s Journey.

This is focused on the book by Janet and Allan Ahlberg. At just £2.00 per child they get to follow the Jolly Postman’s journey around the local area of Ipswich, collecting postmen’s and postladies’ names as they go, out of 40 Houses. Each house will have a postman’s name. Collect the names and write them on the map that is supplied via email or from 4 collection points (the map will show all addresses). Collect as many names as you want. You can do the trail in stages. Some of the houses will be decorated up with the theme of the Jolly Postman.

When the trail finishes on the 9th April there will be a certificate, gold chocolate coin and a sunflower seed sent though the post to congratulate them on becoming a postman!

There will also be one lucky winner that will receive a Golden ticket. If they get this they will also WIN a Giant Easter egg! We will also have 5 silver tickets as runners up that will also get an Easter egg too. These winners will be picked at random from all of the children taking part (you do not need to submit your form with names on).

Grow your sunflower seeds as we will also be holding a competition on the tallest sunflower where you can win a prize!

Why not be like the Jolly Postman and walk or even bike!

Here is what you need to do to take part:

1. Sign up and pay £2 per child here – www.ticketsource.co.uk/cliff-lane-friends
